Puerto Vallarta - Highlights
This recently renovated hacienda-inspired resort is family friendly and convenient to area attractions.
The nine-story Fiesta Americana is on a sandy beach in Puerto Vallarta’s northern hotel zone, less than 15 minutes from the airport and the Malecon waterfront boardwalk.
The hotel’s 291 rooms feature contemporary Mexican hacienda décor, private balconies with ocean views, premium bedding, and marble bathrooms and floors.
A stylish lobby with towering palapa roof (the tallest in Puerto Vallarta), sitting areas with rattan furnishings and marble floors leads to a large sundeck and bustling pool area.
GENERAL INFORMATION:
What to expect: With a recent renovation, the Fiesta Americana is one of Puerto Vallarta’s top resorts for vacationing families, leisure travelers and groups. The hotel offers top-notch accommodations and amenities, coupled with touches of Mexican hacienda architecture and colonial flair. Dark woods, coconut palms, waterfalls and other natural elements create a sense of jungle allure and timeless charm, while the manicured gardens, crisp service and modern accents add more than enough civility to satisfy guests’ needs.

PROPERTY AMENITIES
Amenity highlights: Guests can have an active or relaxing visit, depending on their whim. The Fiesta Kids club offers complimentary childcare during the day, allowing parents to venture on their own. The pool area is a popular meeting place and stays busy throughout the day. For a respite, guests move to the beach, where the lapping waves and ocean breezes wash away the cares of the day. There is a crafts-painting table, beachside massage hut, convenience store, gift shop, jewelry store tour desk, and a selection of restaurants and bars. An on-site convention center offers seven colonial-styled meeting and banquet rooms, accommodating up to 420 guests, plus full catering services for special events.
Extra Details: A shopping plaza with supermarket, boutiques and souvenir stores is just a block away. Guests can catch the city bus from the stop in front of the hotel for a quick ride to the Malecon for an evening of fun. Though local vendors walk the beach hawking their wares, a cordoned-off area is reserved exclusively for guests that want to sunbathe in peace. Whale-watching season is December to March and guests can sometimes see the humpback whales in the bay from their hotel balconies in the early morning hours. The hotel was constructed in 1979 and was one of the first major resorts in the area. Many hotel employees have been with the property almost since the beginning, with an average tenure of nearly 15 years. Repeat guests are greeted by name and the staff takes great pride in the resort.
